Snarkitecture is a New York-based collaborative design practice seeking to explore the
boundaries between artistic disciplines. The name is drawn from Lewis Carroll’s The Hunting of The Snark, a poem describing the “impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature.” The collaborative design group produces large-scale projects and installations that seek to answer questions of the unknown.
Within Snarkitecture’s portfolio, installations tend to reinterpret everyday materials, structures and programs with a fresh spin and imaginative flair. Centered on the importance of experience, the studio manufactures memorable moments that invite people to take a closer look at their surroundings and engage with art itself.
Snarkitecture’s installations and projects can be found in cities around the world, such as Tokyo, New York, Los Angeles, Bangkok, and Miami.
