Snarkitecture

Snarkitecture is a New York-based collaborative design practice seeking to explore the boundaries between artistic disciplines. The name is drawn from Lewis Carroll’s The Hunting of The Snark, a poem describing the “impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature.” The collaborative design group produces large-scale projects and installations that seek to answer questions of the unknown.

Within Snarkitecture’s portfolio, installations tend to reinterpret everyday materials, structures and programs with a fresh spin and imaginative flair. Centered on the importance of experience, the studio manufactures memorable moments that invite people to take a closer look at their surroundings and engage with art itself.
